Declaration of Competing Interests
Jurnal Teknoif Teknik Informatika Institut Teknologi Padang requires authors to disclose any financial or non-financial interests that could reasonably be perceived to influence the research, its interpretation, or the publication process.
Competing interests may include employment, consultancies, financial relationships, funding, patents, personal relationships, professional affiliations, or other circumstances that could affect, or appear to affect, objectivity.
All authors must provide a competing interests declaration during submission. If no competing interests exist, authors should explicitly state that they have no competing interests to declare.
Editors and reviewers must also disclose relevant competing interests and decline assignments when their impartiality may be compromised.
The journal will assess disclosed interests and determine whether additional information, editorial safeguards, or a published disclosure statement is necessary.
Failure to disclose relevant competing interests may result in editorial action, including correction of the published record where appropriate.
