We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all authors, reviewers, and editorial team members for their valuable contributions to the publication of Jurnal Teknik Informatika Institut Teknologi Padang. This edition contains 7 articles by 16 authors from 5 universities across Indonesia: Padang State Polytechnic, North Sumatra State Islamic University, Indonesian Adventist University, Padang Institute of Technology, and Andalas University. This issue presents research articles focusing on the development and implementation of information technology across various application domains. The topics include website development using the Incremental Method, the application of logistic regression and artificial neural networks to identify students at risk of dropping out, a WhatsApp-based student admission information system with e-reminder functionality, population density identification using hierarchical clustering, and the implementation of security and high availability mechanisms on cloud servers using Amazon Web Services (AWS). These studies highlight the role of software engineering, machine learning, data clustering, information systems, and cloud computing in addressing practical challenges in education, demographic analysis, digital services, and information infrastructure. Through this issue, we aim to disseminate research findings that contribute to the advancement of information technology and provide useful references for academics, researchers, students, and practitioners. We extend our appreciation to everyone involved in the editorial and publication process. We hope that the articles in this issue will inspire further research, encourage technological innovation, and support the development of effective technology-based solutions for real-world problems.
